Final Workshop

The EU Tacis project «Caspian Water Quality Monitoring and Action Plan for Areas of Pollution concern (CaspianMAP)» has the pleasure to announce its Final Workshop, which will be held on July 28 and 29, 2009 in the President Hotel in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Representatives form the Caspian riparian countries and international organisations will attend this workshop.

The first day of the workshop will be devoted to the Regional Water Quality Monitoring Programme as developed by the project in support of the Strategic Caspian Action Programme under the Tehran Convention. Also the results of the sampling cruises that were organized by the project will be presented.

The second day of the workshop will discuss the Inventory of Pollution Emissions from Land Based Sources, as conducted by the project, and the Regional Pollution Action Programme as developed by the project in support of the Strategic Caspian Action Programme under the Tehran Convention.
